The world is split up into 6 main regions, the area shown in the demo is the first region of the full-game and acts as the tutorial region of sorts! Once you leave this region the game opens up, allowing you to explore multiple areas at your own pace, in any order you see fit.

You’ll need to explore all the regions and meet up with the different members of the salvage team to work on fixing their problems and restoring each part of the pond, from clearing the algae that’s taken over the kindergarten pools, to draining the flooding of the residential district.

Mudborne is being created by ellraiser, one half of the indie-dev studio, TNgineers. A spiritual successor of sorts to APICO, Mudborne instead Mudborne Game focuses on genetic manipulation and generational puzzles to create and discover all sorts of frog species, with experimentation being encouraged.

You awaken from your hibernation to find your pond abandoned and empty. Through a combination of crafting minigames, menu management and puzzle solving, experiment with genetics to breed new frogs and recover what was lost.

There’ll be lots to explore and uncover, and get to the bottom of what happened while you work to bring everyone back.
